Amber Road Tours, Inc is a U.S. company registered in the state of Florida, a member of the American Society of Travel Agents and the Better Business Bureau of Panama City; providing coach tours only in central and south Italy. “We have many years experience working as tour organizers and escorts. Living in Tuscany and Umbria, we know the places, the people and their customs well. We do a limited number of tours each year, allowing us to give particular attention and care to your group.” US born Jonathan Bassett began organizing and leading tours in the early nineties while living in his home country. A well seasoned traveler, from the first time he set foot in Italy, in 1995, he knew he had found a special place. Enjoying the wonderful Italian people, food, wine, art and history, he found himself wanting to share the experience with other travelers. After teaching English in Italian middle and high schools for several years and struggling to learn the language, he then spent some summers working as a tour escort for a large company. But the large group tour experience felt inadequate for seeing and experiencing the Italy that he knew and loved, and so he decided to work on his own. Sonya Conti is originally from Northern Italy. A graduate in Fine Arts from the Università degli Studi di Milano, she has worked for many years as a translator for magazines and book publishers. She met Jonathan while traveling in India and eventually joined him in Tuscany to create this new venture. Currently, when she is not taking care of the hotel, restaurant and local guide bookings or busy developing new itineraries she still finds time to translate books, mostly light horror for adolescents. Sonya and Jonathan have been organizing tours in Italy since 2002. They incorporated Amber Road Tours in the US in 2004. |

| Luca Renzini is a native of Umbria but has lived the last 10 years in Florence. He is a graduate of the University of Florence
in languages (English & French). He has lived in the U.S. and France and has worked on tours all over Europe and in Mexico. In his off season free time he works as a referee for the Italian soccer league. He has worked with Amber Road Tours since 2005. Tours: Tuscany/Umbria, Amalfi/Apulia |

| The lovely and charming Maria Elena Ciacci is a native of Tuscany. She lives in San Quirico d’Orcia (near Pienza)in the beautiful Orcia Valley. She has been working as a tour escort for ten years and has an unsurpassed depth of knowledge of the area you will be traveling. She began working with Amber Road Tours in 2005. Mario Isaia, a graduate of the Milan Institute of Tourism, has worked as a tour manager on coach and bicycle tours for the last six years. He’s widely traveled and speaks Italian, English, French, Spanish and is working on Portuguese. Man of a thousand stories, he has been entertaining Amber Road Tours guests since 2006.
Ennio Berioli is the simpatico driver for many of our tours. From Pistoia, he is both everyone’s grandfather and every woman’s Italian fantasy. The straight man of the Luca and Ennio comedy team, he’s kept us safe on the roads for years.
